Henry Okah found guilty of 2010 car bombings,sentenced to life in prison
Nigerian Militant leader, Henry Okah has been found guilty of 2010 car bombings in Abuja by a south African court.
Okah was convicted of 13 counts related to acts of terrorism.He was a arrested a day after two car bombs went off in Abuja on October 1(independence day) 2010. 36 people were injured and 12 people killed.
Okah was also the leader of the Movement for the emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), that claimed responsibility for the attacks.
He denied all allegations against him and also denies being the leader of the group.
He was found guilty by the Jury and was sentenced to life in prison, his sentence is scheduled to begin January 31st.
