Fatal accident claims the lives of all passengers On board in Delta state

A tragic accident occurred yesterday morning, when an Uduaghan tagged bus travelling from Sapele to warri  had a Head-on collision with another vehicle.

According to eyewitnesses, The bus veered of the road and the vehicle landed in a big ditch killing all passengers on board.

Delta state wins Eko games 2012

The people of Delta state are in high spirits now ever since the announcement of their victory in the just concluded Eko games 2012 competition.

Their sports men and women performed outstandingly well.The event ended on sunday night at the Teslim Balogun stadium with Delta state topping the medal table with 114 gold, 99 silver and 75 bronze medals.Rivers came second while lagos followed at third position.

34 year old farmer sentenced to death for armed robbery in delta state

A man identified as Emeka Ogwu, a farmer at Kwale town, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State has been slammed with the death sentence by an Effurun high court for allegedly trying to Rob a woman.

One of the prosecution witnesses, Dorothy Asekpokai, a business woman, had told the court that the convict attempted to rob her on June 12, 2007, when she visited her new building site around Osubi.
