Sanusi Lamido honors his wife

CBN governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has staged a lavish party in honour of his wife, Sadiya Sanusi. The honorary ceremony was part of a fanfare to mark the silver Jubilee of the couple. Lamido described his wife as 'the pillar behind his successes'.

Quoting Sanusi,

The decision to confer this title on this woman of substance was a sign of gratitude for the positive role she has played in my life over the last twenty five years in marriage. I married Sadiya 25 years ago during the silver jubilee of the revered Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero. By next December, it would be exactly 25 years of eventful wedlock.

Could this be an attempt to appease his spouse over his 'recent' cheating scandal? i did not say anything ooo.....before they fire me with another ten hundred million naira lawsuit.
