President Mugabe Of Zimbabwe rubbishes Pentecostal christians,calls them fake prophets


The President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe has expressed his thoughts on Pentecotal christians,he called pentecostal pastors ''fake'',he further stated that their claims and gift of prophecy were false.

He made this claims via the official government website on sunday.”Traditional churches – among them Methodist, Catholic and Anglican – conducted their services as instructed by Jesus,” the president said but Pentecostal claims of a gift of prophecy are false.


Mugabe,who is Roman catholic, taunted Pentecostals, challenging them – if they are true prophets,they should offer solutions to HIV/AIDS and cholera.”There are too many people who claimed to be prophets in Zimbabwe yet in the Bible they were not that many.”

Mugabe accused pentecostal churches of extorting money and gifts from their followers,by making mandatory for them to give to their leaders.

”Zimbabweans enjoy freedom of worship, Christianity and African Tradition are the dominant religions though other religions such as Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism among others enjoy a significant following.”according to the government website.
