Popular Motivational speaker,Zig Ziglar dies


Harry Hinton, popularly known as Zig Ziglar has passed on to the great beyond. The reknown motivational speaker and author died November 28,2012 after a brief battle with Pneumonia.

His death was announced by a rep from his office.according to the statement,Ziglar,86 died in Dallas,Texas.

‘Zig Ziglar passed from this world today after a short bout with pneumonia. Though his time on earth has ended, he is speaking with Jesus now in his heavenly home. The angels in heaven are rejoicing and his family is celebrating a life well lived’, the current post on his Facebook page reads.

Late Nollywood actor,Akintola Ogungbe left behind 20 wives and 50 children


A shocking discovery was made recently at the compound of late nollywood actor, Akintola ogungbe who died some days ago.

It was revealed that the septuagenarian left behind 20 wives and 50 children.it is not clear if the late actor had more wives than twenty, but twenty are the ones identified for now as his wives scattered all over the country have been visiting the Ogungbe’s compound in Ibere kodo area of Abeokuta to condole with the family.

A Dele Odule-led planning committee is working assiduously on giving the veteran actor a befitting burial, and has even gotten the support of the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosu, has pledged to be there for the committee.

The actor started his career from a dancing troupe which he formed .

Buhari loses First daughter,Zulia




Former president of the federal republic of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari has suffered a great loss, his first Daughter,Zulia has passed on.

Zulia, 40, died yesterday evening 2 days after giving birth baby girl in kaduna,sources say she might have died from Child birth complications.

She was survived by her husband,Mahmud Junaid and her three kids.She has been buried according to muslim rites.

Olaleye Sunday Olanrewaju known as Honorable LAS is a final year Accounting student of DLI in Unilag.

He was hit by a stray bullet on Saturday, 24th of Nov. on his way to church at Sango Ota during a robbery incident.

Nollywood actor, Akin Ogungbe dies at 78


Veteran Nollywood actor, Akin ogungbe has been snatched away by the cold hands of death on wednesday November 28th, 2012 at the mature age of 78.

The late Ogungbe rose to limelight after his famous role in the movie, Ireke Onibudo.

The yoruba actor, who was one of the founding fathers of the Nigerian movie industry,owned Akin Ogungbe Theatre Troupe which has produced dramatists like Jimoh Aliu and other acts.

His death was confirmed by his son Segun Ogungbe, who spoke with reporters shortly after the actor passed away.

He will be missed by all as his colleagues have started sending in their condolences.

[breaking] Explosion occurs at catholic church in Jaji military cantonment,kaduna


This report is just reaching us now that an explosion occurred at a catholic church located in Jaji military cantonment, kaduna state.

According to Dailytrust,

At least 5 people have been confirmed dead from the explosion at the Protestant Church at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College suicide bomb attack this afternoon. A source at the Military Hospital stated that he has seen 5 corpses brought in so far as well as many injured from the blasts.

Fuji legend,Fatai rolling dollar loses wife


Popular fuji musician,Fatai rolling dollar has suffered a tragic loss, the octogenarian lost his first wife,  Olaitan Olagunju on Friday, November 23,2012.

The 86 year old musician whose real names are Olayiwola Olagunju stated that his wife's problem started one December period,prior to celebrations when a firework was thrown into his house and it hit the late Olaitan on the leg.

According to the musician, all efforts to heal the leg proved abortive until her death.Fatai has been a musician since the 80's and is popularly known for his hitsong 'won kere si number wa'.

Jungle Justice in South Africa - 4 arrested for killing Zimbabwean


4 South Africans have been arrested recently for the unlawful killing of a Zimbabwean in the squatter camp, north of the city of Johannesburg.

Now four men have been bust for the killing. Yesterday Zimbabweans living there contacted the People’s Paper to tell us: We are living in fear. We don’t feel safe anymore!
